Eunyong Park, Ph.D. (PI) 

Eunyong received Ph.D. from Harvard University working with Tom Rapoport and postdoctoral training at Rockefeller University working with Roderick MacKinnon. He is currently Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley.

Eunyong has been awarded ASCB Kaluza Award (2014), Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund Fellowship (2013-2016), Charles H. Revson Fellowship (2016-2017), Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists (regional finalist, 2017), and Vallee Scholars Award (2018).


Sam Itskanov (Graduate Student)

Sam received his B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA. He joined Biophysics Ph.D. Program of UC Berkeley in 2017. In his spare time, Sam enjoys playing soccer and piano.


Kyle Tucker (Graduate Student)

Kyle received his B.S. from Lafayette College. He joined MCB Ph.D. Program of UC Berkeley in 2017. Kyle awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2019.


Sue Sim (Graduate Student)

Sue received her B.A. in Biochemistry and Classics from Bowdoin College. She joined the MCB Ph.D. Program at UC Berkeley in 2018.


Yuanyuan Chen (Postdoc Associate)

Yuanyuan received B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry from Nanjing University and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ohio State University. For his Ph.D. Yuanyuan studied the mechanism of membrane protein insertion by YidC with Ross Dalbey.
